India are set to take on New Zealand in their second ODI match on Sunday, 27 November. The match is going to be played at Seddon Park Stadium in Hamilton, at 7 AM in Indian Standard Time. A day night game, India will have to win the fixture if the wish to drIaw level against the Kane Williamson-led side.

Shikhar Dhawan’s India were handed a heavy defeat in the first match of the series where Tom Latham and Williamson put together 200 runs between them to bat India out of the game. Despite scoring over 300 runs in a tricky wicket, India lost the match with 17 balls remaining. The action will now move to Hamilton for the second match, but it the fate of the fixture does not look bright.

Showers are expected to happen throughout the day during the match hours, but might not be heavy. The meteorological data suggests that light rainfall might develop in the morning and might turn into heavy showers as the day progresses. Rain will go away as the evening progresses, but by the time, match might be called off if the two teams are not able to take field.

The temperature is going to be very cold, hovering between 19-9 degree celcius.

This game will be crucial for India to get back in the series, especially with the batting side struggling in the last game. The Indian top three got runs in the last match, but all of them took time to settle in. Shreyas Iyer was able to break the shackles late in his innings and said after the game that it was not possible to play in the T20 mode in such tricky conditions.
